2023. Shillong, India.
Impact Week is a non-profit program that unites people from a variety of countries and organizations. It promotes innovation and entrepreneurship skill progression in developing and emerging economies as a foundation for sustainable growth by establishing sustainable business models using Design Thinking. It equips the next generation for employment, to become inspiring leaders ā successful agripreneurs, entrepreneurs and game-changers, regardless of their field or level of expertise.
In 2024, I joined the organization in Shillong, India as a senior teacher. As a senior teacher, my role was to teach the design thinking method to junior teacher who then helped local students apply the methods when solving regional problems.
During the two weeks, junior teachers and students were led through the Design Thinking process ā learning about research, idea generation, rapid prototyping, and storytelling. They were also encourage to evaluate their idea against the product market fit. At the end of the course, each project was evaluated by an expert jury of faculty and local entrepreneurs.
