Hi! My name is Ida Persson and I’m an idea person.
I'm a designer, storyteller, strategist, and facilitator working at the intersection of social impact and climate care.
ABOUT ME
Currently, I work as a Independent Consultant helping non-profits, educational organizations, and mission-driven teams tackling some of our most pressing challenges: climate justice, equitable education, healthcare access, and social transformation.
My practice is rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and care - blending human- (and beyond human) centered design, systems thinking, and visual storytelling to create systems, tools, futures, narratives, and spaces that center human and planetary flourshing.
I approach design as a participatory and reflective process. I seek to understand the systems at play, imagine new possibilities, and co-create solutions with the people and communities who will live with them. Each project blends research, creativity, and care, with a focus on equity, resilience, and ecological responsibility.
Over 15 years, I've led transformative design work across sectors: from my time at IDEO tackling complex challenges at scale, to building strategies in an agency setting for B2B, B2C, and non-profit clients.
My work centers on one question: how do we design systems, tools, and narratives that are truly regenerative, equitable, and human-centered?
I'm also the founder of DesignShifts, a movement, community, and lab where we're collectively exploring what a better future for and through design could look like.
