Hi! My name is Ida Persson and I’m an idea person.

A woman with glasses and a patterned blouse is sitting at a table, engaging with a man with short dark hair, wearing a dark shirt. There are other people around the table, and colorful sticky notes and papers on the table and behind them, indicating a collaborative workshop or meeting.

I use design, strategy and storytelling to challenge systems, imagine regenerative futures, and co-create inclusive tools, environments, and narratives.

ABOUT ME

As a freelancer, I work with social impact and regenerative clients, combining systems thinking, futures exploration, storytelling, and facilitation to help communities, organizations, and socially-minded teams navigate today’s realities while shaping better tomorrows. My practice spans multiple scales, from shaping policies and services to designing experiences and narratives that support care, justice, and resilience.

I approach design as a participatory and reflective process. I seek to understand the systems at play, imagine new possibilities, and co-create solutions with the people and communities who will live with them. Each project blends research, creativity, and care, with a focus on equity, resilience, and ecological responsibility.

I’ve spent the last 15 years helping B2B, B2C, and non-profit organizations grow their brands and develop products and environments that center inclusion, equity, and everyday experiences.

Most recently, I worked as a Communication Design Lead at IDEO
